Rules
Limit Poker: There are two betting limits specified, a lower limit and a higher limit. The lower betting limit will be the size of all bets and raises in the earlier betting rounds. The higher betting limit will be the size of all bets and raises in the final two betting rounds. Betting is capped when one bet and three raises are made in any one betting round.
For example, in a $2/$4 game, a player may bet $2 in an early betting round and may raise to $4 in the final betting rounds. If a player bets $4 then any raiser must raise to $8.
Pot-Limit Poker: The raise amount must match or exceed the previous bet or raise in the same round. The size of the bet is determined by the pot, including all bets on the table and the amount the player must first call before raising.
For example, let's assume the pot has $60. The 1st player bets $20 and the 2nd player calls. It's your turn. You can fold, call the $20, or raise anywhere from $20 to $120 (the total amount in the pot including your $20 call).
No-Limit Poker: The raise amount must match or exceed the previous bet or raise in the same round. If a player bets $25 then the next raiser must raise a minimum of $25. Since this is no-limit

a player can raise with all their chips. This is known as going all-in.
